About us
Stroke of Hope is a non-profit organization based in the Bay Area, California, striving to provide previously nonexistent tools for patients of stroke. Our mission regards all types of stroke, with a special focus on locked-in syndrome, an under-researched branch of stroke. Our work is divided into three main goals: researching stroke, helping patients access treatments, and creating a community of patients who can reach out and connect with each other. We work with Stanford University's medical research center in order to facilitate stroke research. Through this foundation, we hope to give those who have suffered stroke a community that most did not have, a group that understands what each person is going through.
