Support Groups
Supporting survivors through groups like "The Pacific Stroke Association" is essential in fostering a sense of belonging and resilience. Platforms like this offer invaluable resources, encouragement, and shared experiences that help individuals navigate their recovery journey. We view recovery as a holistic process that includes both physical and mental recovery. By connecting with others who understand their challenges, survivors can gain strength and hope, knowing they are not alone. We hope to create a supportive environment that empowers survivors to thrive and reclaim their lives.
Spelling Board

This is a spelling board, used by those who have suffered stroke and are unable to talk or write. A 2nd party will go through the vowels "A, E, I...", then the patient will give a signal for one of the vowels. Whichever vowel received the signal would be the row the 2nd party goes through, for example, if A row was chosen, they would go "A, B, C..." until the correct letter was chosen. Through this system, those who are unable to speak or write are still able to communicate.
